RenewAire Announces BREEZE

MADISON, WI May 15, 2004--BREEZE is a line of residential energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) designed to dramatically decrease installation labor. Mounting directly to the furnace or air conditioner return air ductwork, like a bypass humidifier, BREEZE requires only two duct collar connections. This results in a neat, compact and affordable ventilation system for production homes, condos and apartments.

As a true ERV, BREEZE uses free, recovered energy to efficiently moderate the fresh air temperature and humidity from the extremes of outdoor weather conditions. BREEZE supplies fresh air year ‘round – improving indoor air quality (IAQ) and eliminating unpleasant odors while controlling excess moisture. The BREEZE core operates without condensation in all weather conditions eliminating the need for condensate pans and drains and allowing complete flexibility in mounting location and orientation.

BREEZE has a built in proportional run time control that can be adjusted to provide automatically any desired ventilation rate. A simple low voltage connection to the air handler’s control and a plug in power connection also makes installation a snap.

RenewAire has pioneered the use of static plate ERVs for both residential and commercial applications since 1983. BREEZE was designed to comply with all provisions of ASHRAE 62.2, the new residential ventilation standard and should be considered as the “standard of design” for general ventilation residential projects regardless of size or location.
